We aim to provide such an environment. We are extremely fortunate to have the benefit of a splendid rural setting. The school itself has an elegant country house as its main building, purpose-built teaching centres and beautiful parkland. Here our pupils learn easily. They are given healthy encouragement to achieve their academic careers without the pressures of a hothouse environment.

Each child is a special character and receives not just an intellectual and physical education but positive individual attention which adds depth to their developing character. Discipline and consideration for others are insisted upon. Examinations bring their pressures but there is always time to plan work and revise. Examination results are an important guide to success but they are not the only ones.

Our girls are well-educated and adaptable. After our care and attention they leave us at the end of Year 11 academically prepared, socially able and brimming with self-confidence, ready for sixth form challenges and the infinite possibilities beyond.
