French students from the Collège Notre Dame du Rocher arrived just before the half term holiday as part of our annual exchange. They were given a taste of life at Abbot's Hill, attending some lessons, as well as the Clan Music competition. They then spent the week with their host families and enjoyed a trip to Windsor to sample some British heritage. Pupils from Abbot's Hill will be making the return visit to Chambéry next February.

Mr Gilles Coudert, Head of French said: “It was a pleasure to host French students from Chambéry once again – this is the third time we have run the exchange. It provides our students with a great opportunity to find out more about French culture and can result in lasting friendships. The girls are looking forward to visiting Chambéry in February when they will be staying with host families, which will really help them to improve their language skills and get a real taste for the French way of life.” |
