Year 3 welcomed a special guest on Tuesday 29 November. Mr Davies, a Year 3 parent, who is an orthopaedic surgeon, came to talk to the class about one of our current topics, the Human Body.

As well as giving a presentation about the bones in our body and how doctors replace knee and hip joints, Mr Davies brought in some real bones that the girls could handle and have a close look at. He also had some replacement knee and hip joints and screws that are used in operations.

We were delighted to have such an expert to come and help us with the topic and the girls really enjoyed the session.
