Year 6 to Year 9 pupils from Baird House and St Nicholas House took part in an inspiring solo recital concert in St Nicholas Hall on Thursday 17 November.

Five pupils from each year were selected to perform in the concert. The evening was introduced by the Baird House Music Captain Jessica Malcolm with a fine performance of ‘Alma del core' by Caldara. This was followed by a rich and varied programme including a brilliant performance of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean' played on the Cello by Muminah in Year 6 to Sophie Tatman (Year 9) finishing the evening with her own beautiful rendition of the timeless classic ‘Cry me a River'.

Head of Music, Mr Keith Harrison said: “There were so many good performances from across the school that it was hard to select our final soloists. Congratulations to all the girls chosen on an excellent evening of music and song.”
